Are fodder sage salvias perennials? i need to know because i bought one and it say...

i need to know because i bought one and it say it is an anual on the tag and a perennial on the pot.
Plant I.D. comfort needed please.?
Answers:    Meadow sage (Salvia pratensis) is a perennial and is hardy to give or take a few zone 4.
