Are Bouganvilleas poisonous? I know that Oleadners are but had never heard duplicate regarding Bouganvilleas....

I know that Oleadners are but had never heard duplicate regarding Bouganvilleas. But a friend of mine just told me she thought that bouganvilleas are as powerfully. I'm planning on planting several of them in my backyard but need to find out for sure because I own dogs and children and wouldn't want to plant anything harmful to them.

Answers:    Bougainvilleas are not poisonous... If your worked something like safety this is not the plant for you since they grow 3"-4" thorns that are as sharp a cats claw... They are insane. They do have hybrids that are thorn smaller number but they don't grow as tall as the real business.
