can i grow on apple tree saplings in ample 15 gal containers untill next year, as im moving within 8 months and want to take them next to me. also how many do i involve as i was told i requirement more than 1 and a plum or similer, what is the best variety that will not go and get to big....thanx
Answers: ok apple trees will grow fine in pots as long as you want. if you find the gala variety they self polinate so you single need 1 tree. as for the size it will grow as big as you tolerate it. prune lightly respectively year to keep it contained by control at the size you want it
i think my grandad have but they grow quite at full tilt (i think). But i think you can do it :)
