Answers: the mete out is time. give your tree a time to grow. your tree is still small. If you are really contained by a hurry then basically buy your cherries in the supermarket.
What is cause the poor patch of grass behind your tree? that could enjoy some baring on what is scheduled. If you have motionless branches on a tree fungus and disease enter from the rotting part, explicitly why you should trim off any late limbs from any plant. I see also from you picture that you hold some very big mature trees beind this little tree, they could be depriving your little tree of nutrients hose down and light. I am not an expert but I am an experienced gardener but over the years I enjoy found that if a plant isnt flouishing it is better to cut you losses and either verbs that particular plant and try a different one, or sometimes a hard to please spot is not suitable for planting at all.
