There are ants outside, what should I nurture...
no tomatoes for windowsill gardening, they get too big and they need a support piece so it will cover your view out of the window.

Answers:    Try some easy growing herb to start like basil and chives. You can buy established plants at the local home improvement store similar to Lowes or Home Depot. Make sure you have them in a massively sunny window, and provide plenty of water. You want the soil slightly dampness but not soggy or standing water. You can buy a jug of "fish emulsion" fertilizer and dampen every other week with it to help them along as economically.
