Any philosophy what I could do near my garden? I have a small front garden beside a couple of very small...

I have a small front garden beside a couple of very small strips of grass alongside the drive opening and path.. as it is so small it is a throbbing to cut the grass so i was thinking on lifting the grass and putting somthing down contained by its place that basically that is to say it and i shouldnt really have to do anything next to.. i was thinking on putting yelp or gravel stones down.. what would you do? also how do i stop weeds from coming up and through the yap or stones?

Answers:    It's a pity that you're considering losing the grass you hold but I do understand your problem.

If you be to choose gravel stones these now come contained by different & very colourful variety.

But my choice would be for something more natural resembling bark. Under the yap lay some plastic matting which will waste all weed.

And on top of the yap choose some containers either surrounded by wood or brown pots into which you can plant seasonal varieties. In this route you can have an everchanging & interesting display of colour contained by your front garden.

Low maintenance but large satisfaction!!
