Any view on how to get hold of a Red Squirrel out of a feeder?... lol? lol we have a fundamentally thin long feeder that have 2...
lol we have a fundamentally thin long feeder that have 2 metal bars going through it, 1 at the top & 1 surrounded by the middle... the squirrel is upside down, when i put hardware gloves on & try to shake the feeder to get the squirrel out.. it holds on2 the middle metal hotel!! lol I cant get the squirrel out... & my parents aren't home btw.. I'm 15
Answers: basically leave the top bad and he will leave as soon as he think there isn't any peril.
The little guy will probly come out on his own, don't try to get him out yourself, they can be MEAN when frightend. If you give up it alone and he thinks in that is no danger around, he will jiggle out. If you are still concerned after several hours of leaving him alone, you could put the undamaged thing within a secure box and thieve it to a vet, (preferably one that specializes in 'exotics'-which are small animals resembling rodents) but any vet should be able to put it contained by something called an "ISO box" to 'tank it down', what specifically, is a little box they put close to a seriously evil cat in, they pump anesthetic gas into it so the cat (or surrounded by this case squirell) falls asleep and consequently the vet can get his/her hand on the animal to help it out.
