Aloe vera 2? i want to replant a aloe vera plant i saw groing outside...
i want to replant a aloe vera plant i saw groing outside my house. Can i just cut a palm leaf and plant it elsewhere or do i need to verbs in the soil and remove a branch?? Please answer...
I grow profusely of aloe Vera on my farm, use it as ornate edging ,even when planted well apart it soon grows into a dense border, also help me to fill within gaps surrounded by hedges.I transplant small past its sell-by date shoots or dig up a unharmed plant, roots & all .They are hardy plants & hold with contentment.I have not ever used a branch to grow a new plant nor hear that this works .
I own ever get indistinguishable problem as you are. If I were you, I will verbs in the soil, and remove adjectives part of the aloe vera, the root and the fern. Because it will grow better if you remove all module of it (neither if you just want to plant a bright little plant)
If you just cut the palm leaf and plant it, it will becoming worse, and the new plant can't grow up. Believe me.
Aloe vera will have it best grow in a ground that contain sand, and compos.
Thank you.
Answers: You can do both, just verbs it up and plant it in a clay pot and if you want you can break of a branch and let the cut finale heal on the windowpane sill for 2-3 days and after grab a plastic slack and put the leaf surrounded by it with humid soil and trademark it and in give or take a few 3-5 weeks there will be a topical aloe plant growing on the leaf, so freshly plant it with the palm leaf and wait until the big fern looks unplump as this assures that your baby aloe is fuly feeded and consequently remove the baby aloe and the big palm leaf from there pot and benignly seperate them and make sure to catch some roots and after replant and put it in a sunny pane and water when the soil is dry to the touch.
