I work in an office setting and want a plant for my cubicle. I don't enjoy any windows, so I was wondering if anyone know of some types of nice plants that may do well without sunlight .. freshly water and nutrients?? Thanks!
aloe vera. i have it sitting in a dull corner of my room and i have to water it greatly little. it also comes in handy when you burn yourself. use water jelly crystals to plant your type of plant
Rubber plants obligation sun. Aloe plants need sun. I wouldn't try to grow either of these within a sunless cubicle. I grow aloe and rubber plants in my sunroom.
A "corn plant" dracaena http://www.botanicus.com/live_plants/bod... is an excellent cubicle plant.

These are "man-made" cross plants.
These plants do not like sunlight; they similar to "lightbulb" light. Their size is largely determined before it's purchased, so you won't see much growth. They don't shed or drop leaves. I see them at Lowe's and Home Depot.
try a bonzai tree they are very hearty.
Pothos do really well in little or no street light and may stay in the same small container for decades. Just train the vines round and round one another surrounded by the pot to keep in bounds. Aglaonema "sea green beauty" needs only ambient pale and bi-weekly watering. I got mine at Lowe's.
PS: Try watering from time to time with the remains from your coffee cup (black, or near sugar, but not cream) It's a mild fertilizer!
Peace Lilly you can get the green or variegated. The blooms later forever low light they love.
