Not in my inference. Goats will chew the grass down unevenly but I own never seen one chew down to "sward quality". With the exception of females, goats are not nice to be around. Very smelly. Goats milk is quite angelic if the goat is clean and respectable. John
A goat will munch through everything it can reach, and that's a great deal. They're great escape artists too. No good at keeping a grass under control, you'll soon find it's torn to pieces. Not to mention the billy goat's unpleasant personal conduct . . .
