i have a few clematis plants growing within my garden and one is giving off fluffy looking seed its coating my garden in a the deep of white fluff its unreal i have never see anything like it whats stirring? what should i do?
Exactly the same entity has happen with my brand new one, Its absolutely average although generally it doesnt do that much. Make sure the plants surrounded by really good soil and watered regularly otherwise it happen more often and the flowers die really at the double!
Have fun!!
Sorry I can't help you beside this but it caught my eye.
I was given a climbing clematis as a grant and when I read the plant name on the strip, I couldn't help thinking it sounded similar to a sexually transmitted disease.
"Did you hear that John caught climbing clematis?"
"Ooh sounds painful"
Answers: You have a Clematis Alpina which own small, bell-shaped, mid-blue spring flowers with creamy-white centre, followed by fluffy seed-heads, and mid-green leaves. No routine pruning is necessary. If the spread of the plant wishes to be restricted prune immediately after flowering, adjectives back overlong shoots to on top form buds. Apply a slow-release balanced fertiliser and a mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the remains of the plant in hasty spring. As for the fluffy stuff - you can either prune them rotten as above or hope for more strong winds to fetch the problem away! Good luck :-)
Its sending out seeds much approaching a dandilion
