I have a 30cc 2 cycle engine and I get a edger attachment for it, but when I tried to use it, it would not move when it was applied to the crest of the grass and seemed approaching it didn't have ample juice. If I move up to a 4 cycle 29 cc engine will it work? Or is the edger attachment merely worthless?
Answers: Over 20 years ago I bought a 2 cycle Green Machine with a string director, saw blade and bush blade. The engine is still going strong today but I have replaced worn parts as needed. It is a commercial echelon tool. The comsumer grade products sold surrounded by discount stores like Walmart are toys compared to commercial products.
If you live surrounded by the city and have just a small lawn you probably shouldn't invest surrounded by expensive equipment. However, if you expect to be using this tool a lot for abundant years, go ahead and invest within a good one. John Deere bought the Green Machine government grant and now generate an identical product. Sthil make a good product and several others. It really adjectives depends on your needs and finances. I enjoy never heard of a 4 cycle weed eater. But I would use a gear herald ins-ted of the bent tube type. Shop and compare. The gear head seam to have more power.
It have more RPM I know.
