Wood effect plastic? Trying to find supplier of the kind of giant quality wood effect...
Trying to find supplier of the kind of giant quality wood effect sold surrounded by sheets ? used on dashboards ect. I want to replace the control panel next to some nice walnut or similar but as its for my boat I dont want to use real veneer!! Formica have been suggested but I feell this would not be fairly right for what I have surrounded by mind.

barel would be the best for forming your dashboard. It is a trees stump that section of the tree that allows the grain to follow the curves you want. You can draw from great species, like walnut, zebra woods or exotic, to find the look you want. Flat slabs of wood is massively unstable and will shrink with the 3rd growth of trees that they flog anymore. Barel grain is tighter and will stay after you apply Marine varnish to your dashboard. It will appropriate a lot of carving and smoothing, but you love the results.
