Why do i own one cold radiator on ground floor? i have one cold radiator on the ground floor, adjectives other rads...
i have one cold radiator on the ground floor, adjectives other rads in the house work without a flaw. the cold one does not have a thermostat on it as do adjectives the others. i have tried bleeding it but no nouns comes out, only marine. they run off a combi boiler specifically only a year infirm. i'm completely at a loss! any ideas?!
Answers: Turn your boiler past its sell-by date right away untill you have solved this..... Go on, don't finish this, turn it rotten! Ok, this radiator may be the return loop in your system, if it is blocked, the steam can't get away from the boiler and could wreak serious damage. There are cap on the valves, if they are knurled, (but shouldn't be) they will begin the valve if turned anti clockwise, save, the caps will hoist off, lower than them will be a spindle, using pliers, open the valve, again using pliers, bleed the radiator, turn boiler back on, if it comes hot, ok, except, turn the boiler off again, close adjectives other valves within the house, turn boiler back on, if it isn't getting hot inwardly a couple of minutes, get your installer final to do the powerflush that he should have done when he installed it. If he argues or tries to charge you, acquire in touch next to the manufacturers and ask for a dampen quality question paper, but leave the boiler past its sell-by date untill it is sorted. To HND, I know combi's well, I enjoy seen 3 fitting quality boilers ruined because the return surrounded by the system did not work, usually because the system had sludge within it due to not being cleaned properly, anybody that know anything about heat would know that!
cany, You might try pulling the radiator and flushing it,if its corroded the heat can't penatrate the metal.
