I need to stick 0.6mm thick veneer to a sheet of 16g brass. Which sticky stuff would i use and is there anythin (eg keying?) that may inevitability to be done to brass in order for it to stick properly? Please suffer in mind i am in UK when you recommend a undisputed type :D
Answers: there are double sided adhesive tape used all the time in the trophy business to stick brass dub plates to wood or laminate surfaces. this should do the trick-
visit your local trophy shop and talk to them nearly a little tape.
i use contact cement for simply about everything.. scratch up the brass near sandpaper, clean with laquer thinner and paste up as normal. if you can cover the edges with a molding so the edges are held within place all the better. it will last for years.
