Which cement should I use for my tripod mounting plate that screw onto the camera remnant? My tripod has a metal mounting plate that screw into the camera...

My tripod has a metal mounting plate that screw into the camera base after locks onto the tripod head itself.
The protective rubber on the metal mounting plate prevents primary scratches on the camera basis came unglued.
Has anyone have this happen & which cement is best for gluing rubber to metal?

Answers:    DO NOT use gorilla bonding agent!! that person is apparently to stupid to realize there are different glue for different jobs,,,monkey bonding agent is not for metal and rubber!! use a rubber glue similar to shoe goo,,, or goo3000 or goo5000 etc,,,some house hold glues are of a rubbery type,,, of late read the labels,,,,,
