Can someone please advice me.
My vault is slightly damp at clear in your mind times of year, but not very desperate. The walls have evidence of damp/mould. Can I paint the floor and walls beside some sort of antimould paint or masonry paint so I can put in shelves and use for storage? The walls are brick(painted) and the floor is concrete. The room is approx 8sq.m. Any personal guidance of a particular UK brand, I'd be grateful. Many appreciation.
Answers: before you paint bleach the walls and buy a two litre pot of pva gum paint the Walls with that firstly after you can use a not so expensive paint to paint the walls as the pva glue works as a chain to keep the slimy under control failing that ask at a decorate shop for advice within are loads of great products out there that work on masonry or concrete
u cant draw from rid of damp or mold next to paint it will just save coming back. u can however solve the proplem of drenched with plentiful membrane systems. i work for a damp proofing company and this stuff does work. call in the web site for design. tracebasementsystems.co.uk
