I want to get a wooden sign that I can paint and decorate for my nuptials to direct guests toward the ceremony location.

Does anyone know anywhere or any onine sights to look?
depends how big you need it, but craft stores usually have partial wood slabs for signs. Other than that, go to a lumber yard and own someone cut what you need. does it have to be wood ? an alternative would be for a sign to be made for you by a printing company. they trademark all types of sign on plastic and cardboard.
You can buy pieces of plywood at Home Depot.
Maybe 1/2" thick, 2'x 2' square would suffice.
Get a couple of 1"x 2" stakes to support it.
But most small towns enjoy a local sign maker.
Often you'll find one a State or County Fairs.
Check where local merchants draw from their signs.
lumber store such as Lowes michaels arts and crafts. they are pretty cheap too!
You can buy one that has writing on it and next sand it down so it's all nice and smooth..then you can do anything you what with it. make one yourself, purely get a sheet of mdf. 1 coat of primer and your away, better and cheaper than buying one!
Answers:    How about checking at your local hobby store (such as Michael's and Hobby Lobby)
Home Depot Wal-Mart or a craft store..
Go to any Lowes, Home Depo, or Menards and they should have what you are looking for.

Congrats on the matrimony
just make one..you hold a boyfriend right?...tell him to make one...or ask your dad.
