Where is the best place to take an inexpensive laminate self-absorption top (standard 49"x22")? I've been looking on-line and hold gone to home improvement stores...
I've been looking on-line and hold gone to home improvement stores but everything is surrounded by the $300+ range. I a moment ago want a simple, laminate top like most kitchen counters. I already own a nice drop-in sink, so I do not want a pre-cut or pre-mounted sink with the accord.
When I go to the kitchen part, they have pre-cut 48" tops but they're too long (25"). They narrate me if I was to special directive a laminate countertop for my vanity, its going to be $400.
Anyone know if they hold pre-made laminate tops anywhere or a good place on-line to instruct? I am fixing up a condo for re-sale and just want a simple top, the old one be rotten and I had to throw it out or I would've lately refinished it.
Any help would be great!!
Answers: The homecenters as previously suggested fetch "Kitchen" tops which are 25". They do not carry self-absorption tops. But, you can take the 25" top, and cut the rolled snake back splash rotten at 22" and you will have your top. I did the transposable thing to build a dowel and it worked fine. In fact, it be an 8' top marked down due to mischief on one end, and it cost smaller amount than the 4' tops. I cut the bad shutting off, and the results be good.
Find someone beside skill and a table saw. You will, however, need to formulate a backsplash. I will leave that up to your imagination...
Go to Lowes to purchase your preformed counter-top. It will not be cut to the size you requirement. Ask who in town can cut the counter-top and they can direct you to a company that does that work.
