This is a typical high pay for dining chair - no arm rests. The cushion is mounted on wood and it is the size of the stool and not meant to be removed. Somehow it come off and I don't see how it be mounted. I don't see any glue residue or anything similar to that. Is it OK to glue it on by glue the underside of the seat cushion (wood) to the top of the bench rails? What type of adhesive should I use?
Thanks.
Answers: Usually, in that are corner blocks with screw up from the bottom into the wood. Often the hole becomes enlarged and the screw loosen, or in extreme cases, trip up out. This is the standard way they are attached. Though today, I saw some next to metal brackets into the rails and form bottom.
Whatever you do, you want it to be reversible so you can recover or repair the wipe seat at some point within the future. So screw, not nails or paste.
liquid nail maybe ?
