I'm going to run power to a utility building adjacent to my house.
I be thinking of running a 10 gauge 4 flex romex (230V) drop to a sub panel in the bldg and different 115 Volt cicuits from here. I'm going to only enjoy lights, a few wall outlets and a window AC section and some type of electrical heater(230V-5A) I was wondering of I could win by with 12 indicator because it's so much easier to work with. Since the nurture is 230V and I will never run the AC and the heater at alike would 12 gauge be adequate?
Answers:    #12 is good for a maximum of 20 amps surrounded by this particular application. The A/C will draw bet. 10 -16 surrounded by most cases....depending on size and voltage. I would definitely progress with a larger size rope. It's easier to oversize the wire a touch the first time than it is to re-pull everything later. The distance to the building will also brand a difference due to voltage drop, but it sounds like this is correctly close to your home. Also, check with your local inspectors if you are surrounded by the city limits, you may want a permit.... which a homeowner can find in most cases. Good luck.
i would still walk with 10 indicator myself.i am running 8 gauge to my garage for my power tools and electric fire.also has to due near distance.chwck the chart out
