Answers:    use clear lacquer. its matching stuff they use on guitars, so its pretty tough, scratch and splotch resistant. its best to use a spray lacquer to prevent brush marks. do it tough layers at a time, and you wont bring back drip marks any. you may want to practice with a spray can first if you havent used one back.
