I did a collage of comic pages into my wall. I wonder what to apply after, since I would resembling it to be look as new forever and verbs.
Answers: Certainly you can apply various clear coatings over, but they will imagined effect a change contained by the shading or coloration of the comic pages. I'd probably try a matte finish spray first, to conciliator that. That would be sold in stores such as Michaels, and is used to "Seal" pieces of art, such as pastel. That might be the safest initial route.
Forever is a very long time, and cleaning might be a mechanical, damaging project. I probably would have found huge poster frames with chalice or plexi, mounted the collage that way, and hung it.

I did my bedroom near colored tissue paper. I only used the wallpaper glue as a finish, it's thoughtful of a dull matte finish.
In my bathroom I used some polyurethane over the tissue paper for a shinier finish, also to support with the moisture. This is singular a temporary wall treatment; I approaching to change frequently.
Just a suggestion, I am not really sure what would come about if you tried either of these.
