Ok, you know the lights on amusement rides, they have covers on them of all different colours. You look inside a waltzer setup and they usually enjoy strips of them on the ceiling. I've been searching google for the finishing hour trying to find them but I don't know their official name so it's virtually impossible. Does anyone know what they're call or where I can buy them from? I would like to buy some for a project of mine.

Edit> you are asking for a light pipe/rope street lamp. Try a shop that sells disco paraphernalia,Maplin or R.S ( radio spares )
Answers: Hello mate...
i used to install these, they are call 'turbolights', though theres nothing too turbo about them, its unyielding to find just the covers these days as i know 95% are supplied next to a lamp as the companies that sell em take home more money, i used to buy the lights that you are on about from this supplier:

they are cheap to buy too!
Good luck!
