A 10 x 15 foot room 8 foot high is 1200 cubic feet. Allow one ton for every 500 cubic foot. So you will need a 2 1/2 ton unit or 5,000 BTU. Unless you are running a super computer, later you will need a lot more.

Answers:    You want 5000 BTU to cool your room, but I would go with 6500 BTU made by Zenith. It will cost you 139.00 at Homedepot it should own 5 year warranty, and I think you will like the bigger one..
