What size mirte saw blade is required to cut 6" skirting board ? ...
Answers: Have you got one of those electric mitre saw. When i cut my skirting, it was too high-ranking to put under the saw, so i tilted the saw on its side (they individual tilt to the left) to 45 degrees. Then depending on what passageway the angle had to be cut. I lay the skirting flat any on the face or the backbone, depending on what angle you need. I hope this make sense.
A 12" blade is common, but it depends on what angle of cut is needed, assuming you're discussion about a chop saw. If you're conversation about a jig saw, I would use at least possible an 8" blade, depending on the length of travel of your exceptional saw. Is your skirting board a 1 x 6 to go around the bottom of the house or cabinet? or is it a showy board ? Are you making a scarf joint or basically a butt cut? Will the board be at an angle in the tray or laid flat?
