I'm installing a gas stove that will be vented through an exising fireplace. I will use pipe common compound for the gas line nouns, but what should I use for the vent pipe? The pipe comes out of the back of the stove and straight into the fireplace, where on earth another pipe goes straight up. How do I stamp this connection?
