Answers: Paint is not the way to dance. It will eventually crack and start peeling. You need to go and get leather dye in colors you need. It is much more unchanging and fade resistant.
An acrylic paint should work well. The image will wear what ever environment that you use, but that is usually desirable. Special Paint required...and possibley a sealer. Look on line at some Leather Working supply stores.
