Answers: There is a product you can buy called X-Tex, which you paint over artex and consequently scrape stale once it has softened.
It depends if its proper artex or approaching the muck on my walls.[muck is being polite]. If its approaching my wall simply get a wet sprayer,an old detergent sprayer will do,and a wallpaper scraper or chisel bladed scraper.Wet the artex and chafe it off.Be warn that you will need extra huge quantities of elbow grease and determination but it CAN be done.
