I am a beginning wood worker who desires to make frames. I do enjoy a DeWalt 10" compound mitre saw. But it's time to buy the next tool. Can you suggest a router and communicate me why you like that one the best?

Answers:    I enjoy a Porter Cable 690PK router among others. It has the plunge and regular foot. To me Porter cable is as close to top line as you can attain for the money. So many attachments are base on the porter cable line. Its the best router I've ever used. Soft start, 0-23000 rpm, hugely smooth. I think it be around $250 well spent.
Even if your a novice, I'd still tell you to catch the better because it will last. If budget is not on your side, gain something cheap for now, hope it won't be a hassle.
