I'm knitting a sweater and I'm at the passage where I'm shaping the armholes. I've be decreasing for the past 7 rows. The subsequent part of the outline is telling me to dec 1 st at respectively end of subsequent 5 rows, (I have done this part), next on foll 6 alt rows, then on every foll 4th row until 83 sts rem. This is where on earth I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated. Pat
Answers: You may be misinterpreting the stencil. It would be best to edit the cross-examine and add the exact wording of the subsection of the pattern that deal with the armhole shaping. (It's not a copyright infringement to reproduce just the cubicle you're having problems next to.) Be sure to type the pattern word for word, not what you focus it means.

Continue decreasing respectively end on following 6 alternate rows, after after you have done that on every following 4th row until 83 stitches remaining on the nozzle..
This is my interpretation. Difficult without the book contained by front of me.
I usually keep a broadsheet and pencil handy so I can mark sour the rows with stick info
Hope you understand!
