I have a bunch of glas and resembling making my own tables shelfs ect but i would close to to make an aquarium but dont know what type of cement to buy or where to capture it.
try going to your local hardware store and asking for a non-toxic and waterproof sealent, preferably clear or bedside light white. I used somthing called "sticky-stuff Wet", but they don't market it in most areas.

Clear Silicone.

Answers:    You'll have to do some SERIOUS research on glue ... most glues own 'toxic' chemicals in them that would KILL the fish you want to put into your aquarium. You also want it to 'hold' beneath INCREDIBLE pressure from the inside, since water pressure is much highly developed than air pressure. EVERY 'glass' aquarium I've ever see also has black plastic or metal around the top and bottom to back 'hold' the glue to hold on to the aquarium from 'splitting' apart. Do an Internet search on SEVERAL different survey engines for the 'glue' ... but I doubt you'll find one available commercially. I've NEVER seen and pious AQUARIUM QUALITY glue sold for 'consumers' and muse you may need to buy 'at smallest a five gallon bucket' of it to make an aquarium ... but MAYBE you will find a righteous glue contained by commercial quantities ... but I would be VERY CAREFUL and a short time ago fill the aquarium near cool water for at LEAST two months, consequently with 'heated water' for another two months, and again beside cool salt river and heated salt sea and FIX any 'leaks' BEFORE you add your 'decor' and fish ... because once those are surrounded by, you don't want to 'disturb them' once the tank is 'settled' because you enjoy a large and growing pool of river on the floor.
