Answers: i assume it is a wooden board, if so then you don't requirement to seal it newly scrub and sanitise with cold hose down after use, do not use hot water as it open the woodgrains and holds the bacteria within that will then mulitply and label you poorly, dettox is good!
use mineral grease never veg or olive oil it will run rank.
