Answers: small spaces look great with I don`t know a love seat and a small bench, or 2 stuffed chairs with come to an end tables on hgtv they read aloud small spaces look better with bigger peices approaching big art work or mirror mirror's appear to make the room larger ..a nice stand up kerosene lamp etc..
You could build seating against a wall or two. Simple box frame beside cushion across the top in a pretty textile would work. Have some seating at 90 level angle to "bench" seating for conversation affect...the extension of the "bench" or may be one or two small chairs.
