I recently purchased a chifferobe (dresser near shelves) and I decided to start putting it together. As I be going through the stuff and putting the piece together there seem to be a plastic dowel missing. It is missing from the top and even though there would be three other metal cam bolts holding the top on I be worried that the dowel might help reinforce the piece and did not want to opening not putting anything there and it collapsed. Is at hand something I can use to replace the dowel, possibly something that I can find around the house, or should I just call upon in the morning for the company to distribute me one?
Answers:    Call the company. You'll spend more time looking for something to jury-rig that probably won't work than it's worth.
Depending on the size a pencil could be shaved down to fit
