Just moved into a new apartment. Every 5 minutes, the toilet make a sound. I unseal the lid and see the fluid master. Water rushes into the overflow pipe and its very loud. What can I do to stop the wet noise.
Answers:    It is any water escaping from the cistern to the bowl through the flapper. In which case you should evolution the flapper in the toilet.
Or the black hose that go into the over flow is pushed down into the overflow which makes the toilet container siphon into the bowl. In which case you should cut the hose shorter or attain the clip that comes with the fluid master and put it on.
My guess is the flapper
Yes check your flapper to clear sure its sealing correctly, but also on the side of a contemporary Fluidmaster is a metal rod with for a moment chrome(metal) clip on it, compress clip with your fingers and slide(I believe) down rod some, this will lower the hose height contained by the tank so it don't jump above and down the overflow tube. If you have a rod next to a ball on right expiration type, adjust the screw on top of spout to lower the water horizontal.
