I am having granite installed this week beside a 4 inch splash. I do not have a full vertebrae splash at this time. I want to install xenon under the counter (utc) lighting, but enjoy become a bit confused. Can I hard rope the xenon lights? All the options that I own seen comes next to a plug to go into the wall. I am looking for a angelic reference on how to do this myself (either a book or website). I hold three electrical outlets along the counters, and two switches on different circuits. One is to an outdoor source and the other is to a single track light and the debris disposal in the kitchen. Any input on to whether xenon lights can be intricate wired and how I should go give or take a few this project would be greatly appreciated!
Answers: Some come with a cord and plug, or they can be tricky wired. They also come 120V or low voltage. Where do you want the new switch for the contemporary lites? If you add it to one of the existing switches you will individual need a lead from there to the lites, or to the transformer and next the lites if you use low voltage. You could then catch a device with 2 switches that fits surrounded by the same space a single switch fits surrounded by. Or you could wire them unswitched, and buy lites next to an external switch already on them. Good luck
