Our heating and A/C comes through floor vent. There are vents on the ceiling but they simply go up into space, not even an attic. The roof have peak vent and the space up there have some shredded paper insulation. Is near any reason NOT to get hold of rid of these vents and basically drywall over them, maybe texturing so that they're close to the rest of the ceiling?
Answers: no, sometimes they are the air return ducts that use the stud cavity to trench air fund to the heater room.
You can cover them, but I would also block them from the other call a halt, too.
