Try metal polish, sounds resembling something metallic has cause the scratch and may own left residue on the surface.
Go to a plumbers merchant and ask for a 'bath rubber'. Should lone be a pound or two.
It looks similar to a pencil eraser. If the mark is on the surface and not lower than the glaze, it should do the trick.
