I am a jewelry fanatic and am looking for a creative, inexpensive way to store adjectives my jewelry. I have lots of longer necklaces (the kind you can double, triple, or knot), lots of regular necklaces, chunky bracelets, and earrings (hoops and fishhook styles). I be considering buying an armoire to store it all, but just can't assert the expense right now. Besides, I don't need adjectives the ring storage as I really don't have many rings. I do, however, necessitate to organize all my items so I will remember what I own and wear them all more often. I soak up doing simple craft projects that don't require lots of power tools. It can be one unit, or a combination of things. They can be wall mounted (not too complicated) or stored on top of the dresser. Thanks contained by advance for the help and planning!
I place mine in small boxes and lay them in moderation. I like laura's acvice to hang them surrounded by the closet on small nails too. some I don't wear every day. You basically want to avoid snags and tangles. They sell racks beside hooks on them and they work very well. They look resembling a tie rack but with regular coat hooks and are inexpensive. Try a place like Target or Bed Bath and Beyond.
I bought a package of six of those hooks you can stick to the wall and hung them up within a row in my dorm room. I put all of my big necklaces on it and it in actual fact made a pretty decoration that people other admired when they came over.

For my dangly earrings, I took this cool margarita glass and put some pretty colorful stones within it. Then I put all of the earrings on the side of the glass, limp on it by the metal part that you stick through your ear.
Answers:    I am nuts for costume too.

I like making funky statues/creature art displays out of everything. While some of it is used for my crafts so I need to see it too to assistance keep me inspired to make stuff. A nice arrangement of different rise, colored glass bottles arranged in a group on the dresser to hold bracelets stacked on with or without for a time mask hung at the top part of the bottle looks nice for flowing access to the ones you like or use the most while the rest could be stacked in similar sized tubular shaped cup vases or jars for the rest of your body candy.

I also similar to how they fit nicely in those fancy wine offering boxes that come in beautiful prints and be thinking if you collect like me, Those decorative drapery rods can be hooked up over your dresser mirror to hold a ton of bangles and can be open from the center to get at what you need while chains or even scarves hung from the sides making the mirror look close to a little curtained stage. Kinda like building your own jeweled dressing table using your own trappings which are removable and with a large shelf across the top of it for the wig and hats or whatever and the rod lifeless on the wall beneath it between the mirror and the shelf.

And all along the 3 edges of that shelf I have little hooks and nail where glass locket is mixed with the long earrings making it look like exotic, bejeweled fringe of a most unusual loving and even lil xmas lites along the same nails cuz it make for quite an amazing little light show at hours of darkness... all that colored glass and bead work next to the lil lites shining thru behind it and reflected contained by the mirror. Sorry haha. I call it The Bearded Lady's Dressing Table.

If you have an antiquated Iron Board that is the best though. I have an Egyptian shroud over mine right now but if you paint or cover it in velvet, capably the holes are already there to hang the earrings while the foot of the iron board when folded closed that come out about the neck/shoulder area of the digit can be used for hanging both chain and scarf making it look close to she be wearing Kimono with her arms spread out with jeweled dress (the earrings flaccid from the holes) seen between the two long sleeves (the scarves and chains on either side). And if you don't enjoy a nice mask, top it off next to a funky hat as if her head be bowed or sleeping.

Sounds crazy but I similar to crazy and once sold a lot of earrings when displayed on the ironing board like that cuz the total thing looks like ... in good health a bejeweled Mummy's Treasure Chest Or...

Just hang a long and narrow velvet covered wooden shelf board next to a bunch of hooks and nails in it and for a moment mirror mounted on the top part and the velvet fabric cut and gone hanging a little longer than the bottom quantity of the board for those other earrings that need to be pierced thru the fabric and after clipped closed from behind. If you want a more finished edge, bonding agent gun some matching fringe to the bottom seam.
My mother hang her long necklaces from small nails inside her closet.
