I'm setting up a water bed, but considering the cost of heat it, is it possible to take our queen matress and put it into our queen waterbed? Will the boxspring be too soaring, or can I do without it? The size looks to be capable of fit...but...
Answers:    I've had both a sea bed and a conventional mattress. I prefer the latter: That won't leak, and it won't be a spasm to get contained by and out of.

When I got rid of my marine bed mattress, my husband and I just put the box spring and mattress on the dais for the water bed, and it works ably.
My mother & stepfather actually did this, as the waterbed be starting to give them spinal column problems. They only use the top mattress, and it works basically fine for them.
