Wasp nest surrounded by my 2nd floor apt. glass? I found a wasp nest in my glass. I've heard...
I found a wasp nest in my glass. I've heard of wasp spray, but I am panicky to open the fanlight because the nest is on the top, nestled surrounded by between the window and the storm glass. To complicate things further, I'm on the second floor of a building that is contained by a historic district and so is a couple hundred years old. Very high-ceilinged stories. The ground is conservatively 30ft down from the top of the window (where the nest is). Anybody know how to soundly remove this nest?
Answers: ive constantly had problems beside bees where i live (PA, also historical homes). I would strategize not slit the window for suspicion of bees getting in your place (obviously). I might suggest getting wasp spray that can shoot a stream of poison (most can can do 20 feet easily). my subsequent suggestion is to explain to the neighbors and landlord that you will entail a ladder to spray the damn bees so you can clear plenty distance to hit them with spray. after you enjoy hit them with the spray (assuming within is a screen there), hang around a day and remove the nest beside a pair of gloves.
within your case, nearby is a storm window, which ability they have gotten within between them somehow. since its an apartment, you could ask the landlord to filch a look at it and take strictness of it. hope this helps. best wishes.
