What is the best way to remove wallpaer? This wallpaper have been up a while! I get the "vinyl" part of the wallpaer past its sell-by date, but there is the "paper" side still on the wall. Can anyone proposition any ideas that will not crumple my wall? thanks surrounded by advance.
Answers: Well I agree near everyone except the one who says not to use DIF. Using some solution as apposed to only just plain water is best. Even if you use of late plain dish washing juice. The solution helps hold the wet onto the wall. Really you can use DIF, any dish liquid, material softener, or any liquid soap)Spray it on to the wall somehow. (Pump sprayer, spray bottle, Garden sprayer, etc.)Just remember to be sure the wall is drizzly, and let it set for awhile and preserve wetting it if it begin to dry out before you go and get the paper bad. Even wait in the order of 15 minutes after you first wet it to get going removing the paper, keeping the wall drizzly. If you do it right it will peal past its sell-by date in huge sheets next to minimal damage to the wall and minimal scrape. This method will also keep you from have to wash the wall as much after the composition is off.
Get a spray bottle, riddle it with thaw water and spray until drizzling. Use a scraper (not sharp) or a windshield ice remover to remove. Otherwise, buy the "DIF" stuff at Home Depot or Lowe's, use the scraper and do it that route.
