I don't want to tear it adjectives up, there are simply 2 places (approx 14 sq. ft.) that are uneven. Any suggestions to build it up and find it level? The key part is flooring beside a skim coat of mortar.
Answers: Get some self-leveling mortar and use that. When you mix it according to directions it will come out as quite a runny soup. Just pour it on and consent to it flow and spread out the way it requests. This is probably the best way to stratum it out unless the entire floor is running downhill on one side, in which baggage the mortar will all dance there. If it is a plywood subfloor label sure it is down tight to the floor joists first by screw in 3" deck screw every few inches along each joist. You cannot own the floor moving up and down.
You can use self-levelling compound, but keep contained by mind that it sets quickly, so if you hold a large nouns to do, you might want to hire someone who's experienced applying that stuff. Either that or try to divide up the job into small areas that you can work more slowly on.
