Toilet is losing river!!?

My toilet is losing water...Every once within awhile I hear it filling spinal column up even though no one have used the toilet. The first time it did this I checked and it didn't have much hose down in the container so then it started wadding up again and it keeps doing this over and over again I wouldn't influence every minute but atleast every 45 minutes or so.Anyone have any thinking?Could it need a contemporary fill falve tackle? Thanks
Answers:    They have kit at home depot or lowes that will replace all the internals inside your toilet reservoir. Just go to one of these stores and communicate the person within plumbing whats going on and he can give you what you want and even tell you how to do it. Its vastly simple, my daughter just did this repair a month ago.
Probably the flap stopcock is worn out. Water slowly drains from tank to bowl, afterwards the main tap occasionally fills contained by the missing water into the cistern, which is what you're hearing. So it's probably not the crowd valve, but the flap / bubble valve at the extraordinarily bottom of the tank.
A doomed to failure fill tap is more likely to only just constantly leak marine into the bowl at a constant dribbling rate.
