i am removing my 50 year linoleum flooring whith a hammer and chisel, but it is a physical hassle! does anyone know a faster and easyer way?
Answers: Try a floor scraper. However, enjoy you had the cement checked? If it's that old, it vastly well may contain asbestos. Getting rid of that will be a through problem, as it cannot simply be thrown in the junk. Hope this helps.
First I would ask if you enjoy had it tested for asbestos protection. We pulled up our vinyl flooring not too long ago in our bathroom. It come right up, but the backing remained on the floor. We tried some chemicals to try and take it to come off slickly, but with no window in the bathroom, it be not safe so we have to do it by hand and scraper. If you hold windows contained by the room for good exposure to air you can go to HDepot and go and get backing removers.
