As long as you wear a breather mask, you'll be fine. You can turn with disposeable surgical style article masks, but the best is a rubberized proboscis and mouth mask next to a replaceable, or at least washable filter. You can buy them surrounded by most hardware or paint stores.
You should have vanished the tile that was down surrounded by place, and tiled over it beside a minimum 1/8" thick vinyl tile.
The asbestos is just harmful when it is within dust form, and you can inhale it.
Answers: It depends on what you are doing near the floor.
If you are carpeting, don't worry going on for it.
If you are tiling, you do need to catch it up.
We softened ours with paint thinner, and only mopped it up.

I'm not trying to say the asbestos item is a scare, but for most of us, here are more important things to verbs about.
Example: They replaced asbestos brake pad with silicon ones, just to find out they are just as noxious.
If you worked in a asbestos mine, or be a brake and front end mechanic most your energy, you are screwed.
But in commonplace everyday life, you are not exposed to ample asbestos to harm you.

They claim asbestos floats in the heavens for now on. That's why it's unsafe and will infect a lung.
But OSHA allows a worker to be exposed to it to a measurable number for a allotted amount of time. Go figure.
I did labor work for a standard contractor for a time.
It leads to a doomed to failure feeling when you spend days wreaking out a room, rooms, hallway, even story floors. Get it all shoveled up into the dumb trucks and haul off. Then, three days following, the abatement crews come in to verbs up whatever you might hold left.
It's overkill. At lowest I hope it is.
Talk to anyone that has worked abatement. It's tons of money for them, and they sure don't seem to be concerned about their vigour.
