take plastic tupperware and fill near water and freeze. ( I used 8 in adjectives different sizes)
After they are frozen solid take the big ice blocks and put surrounded by a big bowl such as a mixing bowl
Take a standing fan and place on ground where you can point it directly at the bowl of rime
This will cool you down quick especially if you sit in front of it and you can hold filling up the ice buckets and refill the bowl! Honestly I have no AC and no money to buy one and I will tell you that this is probably the best article I have come up with. I be sooo hot and thought that there must be some way to hold my room a bit cooler. Try it! BE CAREFUL though! Remember that your fan runs on electricity and electricity and water do not mix so pocket care your bowl doesn't spill over water (I put a significant towel under the bowl to catch condensation)
I look forward to audible range feedback and hopes this idea will keep some other hot sufferers out nearby like me!
very good perception!
kudos to you yep!! it works, but I use those disposable water bottles. cheaper than keeping all the tupperware within the freezer all summer . We also use the disposable water bottles within the rabbit and cavvie cages. keeps the critters cooler too.

I own also stuck washcloths in the sink and barely wrung them out and put them contained by the freezer then clipped them to the top of the fan coop in front. This way hose drops will not hit the fan motor.

I am not having that problem this summer. My window are closed and the fans off. It have been unseasonably cool here. We will probably pay surrounded by spades in August, but for now is great!

An even simpler style to keep cool (and I use it when outside working in 90+temp) is to run one of those blue freezer gel shipping things and freeze it then put it under your head covering. If you keep your head cool your body will too. cool opinion
Answers:    :) What you have done is made your highly own Swamp Cooler/Evaporative Cooler! What a Swamp Cooler does, and your fan and ice are doing, is blowing reheat air across a cool/cold surface thus reducing the temperature of the surrounding nouns as the cooler water evaporates. You are very cleaver to numeral this out on your own. Congratulations! Just be a bit forewarned though, it will not work as well when it gets humid - sorry. Try to maintain cool - I know just how you feel.
