I have a bid that includes this possession, and I want to know what it is... please help. "STD & BTR Dry", followed by the lumber dimensions. What do those parcels stand for?
Answers:    STD means Standard, it's a status of lumber. BTR means better. So you will catch standard or better grade of lumber. Best title is select structural, which is seldom used. Most common is #2 lumber. STD is similar to #2.
he's right more or less the abbreviations standard and better,
but most states no longer pass #2 lumber which used to be standard. due to increased rigid building codes most states now use #1's as standard
