Something falling down the flue? We recently have a log burner fitted and I haven't yet boxed...
We recently have a log burner fitted and I haven't yet boxed surrounded by our twin walled flue that goes through our bedroom.. Last dark I heard what sounded resembling gravel falling down the flue. I thought it was rime, but today during the day when I knock the flue more stuff drops - can anybody relate me what it is? We do have a cowl.

Have you have your chimney swept yet. it may of late need a accurate clean. We sometimes hear precipitation coming down into ours.
